Customization Definitions

This article provides a definition of words related to customization.

Customization	Adjustments that are available to tailor Wheelhouse to your company. Customization may be completed by your employee or with the help of your Wheelhouse implementation team.
Custom Field	A field added for a specific purpose that is not included in Wheelhouse. Custom fields are defined a `Field Definition` and attached to a record or record type. See `Field Definition`.
Custom Form	A fillable form with `Custom Fields` based on the `Form Template`. Custom Forms provide a place to capture information that does not have another storage location in Wheelhouse.
Field Definition	Defines `Custom Field` including type, default value, and additional options. `Custom Fields` may be attached to numerous record types (objects) throughout Wheelhouse. `Custom Fields` may be grouped into an `Object Template` (Custom Field Template) for use on a specific record type.
Form Documents	Documents that are attached to `Custom Forms`.
Form Template	A template and designer for `Custom Forms`.
Object Template	`Custom Fields` may be grouped into an `Object Template` (Custom Field Template) for use on a specific record type when created or later.
Standalone Form	A list of the forms that have been created using the `Custom Forms` system from a `Form Template`.
